Hands down the worst formatting I have ever encountered. No spacing between paragraphs, no indentation of each new paragraph. Makes the book look like, almost, one continuous paragraph. Small print,(smaller than other Andy Adams books & other books as well), very difficult to read without running onto previous lines.
Book down very amateurish. Not to detract from Andy Adams writing, but it is very hard to enjoy even a good book when it is hard to read because of sloppy formatting. Obviously, no editing of the physical book itself.
All of Andy Adams books are outstanding.
Great book. I enjoy Andy Adams books and this one was right up there.
I like this author very much. The tales are fun and exciting of a time when men were men and life was tough for them and their families.
Western at its real life.
Interesting history and details of a cattle drive, but a little confusing to read
Andy Adams was a great story teller. Too bad he wrote so few Westerns. I have them all and The Log of a Cowboy is my favorite, with Read Anthony next and Wells Brothers, then The Outlet
